SYNOPSIS
Swarna spends her days caring for her home and her mother, carrying with her a story of love, loss, and resilience. Her unfulfilled dream of becoming an actress resurfaces as popular Sinhalese cinema enters into a dialogue with her daily life. Between reality and fiction, End of Battle crafts an intimate portrait of contemporary Sri Lanka: a country defined by rain, change, and a suspended emotional tension, where cinema becomes a space for both memory and desire.
